Grilling on a Carolina Evening

There is very little in this world that I enjoy more than grilling out back in my little piece of suburbia. It was the kind of evening that takes away all my desires to ever travel. There is something that can’t quite be put into words about these moments. It’s beautiful, and I hope that no matter what happens in the future, I remain thankful of the times like these.

As for the meal itself, we had locally grown North Carolina sweet potatoes (with brown sugar), flat-iron marinated steaks from Trader Joes, and I had a glass of Charles Shaw Merlot. The steaks came out pretty nicely, but the sweet potatoes were fantastic. I wanted to share a handful of photos, and to mention that there are new posts coming very soon. A take on RDU’s New Terminal 2, and a little longer term the beginning of a series I’m planning to do on sustainability.

Thanks for stopping by, and please feel free to leave comments.
