Here are the final day of our DC trip’s photos. We saw Arlington National Cemetery, got dinner in Old Town Alexandria at Bugsy’s Pizza restaurant, had ice cream at The Scoop Grill, and finally revisited the Lincoln Memorial and Washington Monument for one last time before settling down for our last night. Places visited on this trip included the United States Botanic Garden, the Lincoln Memorial, the Washington Memorial, the World War II Memorial, and the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum. We got to taste some very tasty Mexican food during the folk festival, and I took a ton of photos of the Metro. The fireworks were huge as usual, but they never photograph very well… and this year our view was partially blocked by the smoke.
