The proposed renovation expands main floor living space further into the deeply wooded lot, while reconfiguring existing bedroom spaces to the meet the needs of the new homeowners. A cantilevered bridge entry acts as the new main entrance, effectively flipping the front and back of the house, while the old foyer makes way for a new floor-to-ceiling glazed dining room nestled among the trees.
Meanwhile, up the hill, off the bedroom wing is a small home office, providing a quiet place for thought and productivity for the homeowners, both of whom work from home regularly.
